Well, it's not an onslaught of response, but 76% of 17 respondees vote for changing ctrl-enter back to new tab in Phoenix. Alas, just when phoenix was beginning to become a luxurious experience in an otherwise pain-ridden winXP experience, I've been forced to create a special caveat file in my motor response memory for phoenix. Now the damn habit is screwing with my regular Mozilla browsing too.
As I've said before, even ignoring the issues of negative transfer for previous users, this is a *plain* bad decision. In many other palces the browser, the control modifier spawns a new tab. Creating an exception for the url bar is not kosher.
