Publishing Strategies with Radio Jon Udell writes up heads, decks, and leads. It boils down to a strategy of linking to stories with short blurbs in the weblog.  This is one of the strategies I'm pondering as I plan a move out of my blogger space.  Interesting, Movable Type builds this structure into the story posting form. Now how do we integrate outlines?  OPML Stories?  Should there be a conduit from the outliner to creating a story?  Bake the ideas in the outliner, move them to the story text processer via a chosen template (and run glossary substitution at that time!).  Sounds good.  5:44:16 PM    comment

A Heuristic Analysis of the Seqway.  While reports of the Seqway make it sound quite good when considered in the light of heuristics like prevent errors, enable rapid recovery, etc., my take on the UI is that it lacks a display of system status.  Can a device really be so easy to use and transparent that no system status is required? 2:14:05 PM    comment
